The WeChat Official Account/Service Account is a core social platform tool aimed at the Chinese market, widely used for customer service, online marketing, event promotion, after-sales support, and other scenarios. It is particularly suitable for enterprises and organizations that require providing in-depth customer services frequently. After certification, it can also showcase official credibility, strengthening the brand's trustworthiness.

Preparation Before Installation

Before you begin, please ensure:

You have a verified Service Account or Official Account

Your personal WeChat account is bound as an administrator of the Service Account or Official Account

Using WeChat Service Account will provide more comprehensive functional support

Operation Steps

Add WeChat Channel

  1. Enter the channel settings page

Navigate to the WeChat Official Platform page

  1. Obtain the authorization QR code provided by the WeChat Official Platform

Follow the steps in the page, click the "Get Authorization Code" button, and redirect to the authorization page. At this point, an official authorization QR code will be obtained from the WeChat Official Platform.

  1. Open the WeChat app on your mobile device to scan for authorization

Please use the WeChat app on your Android or iPhone device to scan, ensuring that your mobile device is logged into the official WeChat account and is logged in as an administrator. If the above information is correct, the authorization page will prompt that the scan was successful.

At this point, a list of the official accounts or service accounts linked to your WeChat account will pop up on your mobile device. After selecting the account you need to provide services to, proceed to the Authorization Confirmation page. Here you can review the authorization items required by 3Chat, which have already passed the official review and certification by WeChat, ensuring there is no risk of information leakage, so please proceed with the authorization confirmation operation confidently.

After checking and agreeing to the terms, click to confirm the authorization to complete the final authorization step.

  1. Confirm the successful connection of the channel

After you complete the above operations on your mobile device, the authorization page will automatically redirect back to the initial installation page. When you see the prompt below, the WeChat Official Platform message channel has been successfully established. If you want to switch to another WeChat Official Platform account, click the red button “Cancel Connection,” and we will guide you through establishing the channel again.

Subsequent Operation Guide

After adding the WeChat channel, please log in to the WeChat Official Platform backend system, find Interaction Management > Auto Reply to complete the following two operations: disable the configured keyword replies and the content for received message replies, closing all in interaction management:

  1. Disable configured keyword replies and received message reply content: You already have 3Chat Smart Customer Service, no further configuration here is needed.

  2. Selectively retain the attention reply based on your actual scenario: Currently, the WeChat Official Platform has not yet opened this capability; 3Chat will continue to monitor the platform's iteration direction and integrate this capability as soon as possible.
