How to Connect Your Facebook Business Account to 3Chat
By connecting your Facebook Business Account (Facebook Page) to 3Chat, you can manage Messenger conversations and public Page comments in one place—making it easier to respond to customers quickly and efficiently. Follow the steps below to complete the authorization process.
Prerequisites
• You have a Facebook Business Account with at least one Facebook Page created
• You are an Administrator (Admin) or Editor of the Facebook Page
• You have registered for and logged in to your 3Chat account
Setup Steps
Step 1: Open Channel Settings in 3Chat
Log in to the 3Chat admin dashboard.
From the left-hand navigation, click “Channels”.
Locate “Facebook” in the channel list and click “Connect”.
Step 2: Authorize Your Facebook Account
In the top-right corner of the Page list, click “Connect Facebook Business Account”.
You’ll be redirected to Facebook’s login page. Sign in using your Facebook Business Account.
After logging in, Facebook will ask you to select the Page(s) you want to connect:
Select one or more Facebook Pages you’d like to link to 3Chat.
Review the permissions requested by 3Chat, including message management, comment access, and basic user information.
Click “Continue” or “Allow” to complete the authorization.
Note: If you don’t see the Page you’re looking for, make sure you have Admin or Editor access to that Page.
Step 3: Complete the Connection and Test It
Once authorization is complete, you’ll be redirected back to 3Chat automatically.
Your connected Facebook Page will appear with an “Active” status.
Visit the connected Business Page using a different Facebook account and send a test message (for example, from a personal Facebook profile).
Check that the message appears in 3Chat in real time and send a reply to confirm everything is working as expected.
